Hurricane season is a common time to travel. Yet, there's things to note so that you can be prepared for rough seas and winds while on your cruise. The best times to cruise are January - May and November - December. Summer months and early fall pose a higher risk for adjusted routes and port changes. Make sure you have travel insurance for any of your cruises at all times!
Bag fees are becoming more prominent on your favorite airlines. Long gone are the days of traveling with free bags. Be sure to know that each airline's bag fees vary and depend on how many bags you are traveling with. *Southwest no longer offers free checked bags. Their first bag fee starts at $35 and continues to $55 for a second bag. Make sure that you are aware of this while booking your flight.
